Jerry McGruder Fowler, Jr.
Jerry McGruder Fowler Jr., was born December 22, 1982, to Patricia Ann Turner Fowler and Jerry McGruder in Houston Texas. He was raised in Houston’s 5th Ward Area, where he attended Bruce Elementary School, E. O. Smith Middle School and Phyllis Wheatley High School.
Jerry was a very caring person and was loved my many. He was a devoted father, brother and friend. Basketball was one of Jerry’s favorite sport. His love for cars, music and rapping ran deep. As one of the original founders of the Chabatta Team record label, many CD’s were produced under his watchful eye.
“Baby J” will meet his parents in heaven: Patricia Turner Fowler and Jerry McGruder; his grandparents: Daise and Bill Fowler; his aunts: Pamela Simpson, Renee Fowler; and his uncles, Frank Fowler and Terry Fowler.
Jerry leaves to cherish his loving memories: his sister: Brandie Turner; his brother, Jerry McGruder; his children: Jaiden Fowler (Kayla Guy), Jazzelle Fowler (Candy Young), and Jelia Fowler (Johnqunet Williams); his lifetime companion ; Danielle Banks; his aunts and uncles: Veverly Fowler, Bertha McGruder, Iris Lee McGruder, Stella McGruder, Bill Fowler, Jr. (Sharon), Michael Fowler, Rodney Fowler, Milford McGruder, his first cousins: Nechole Walker (James), Shateria Patrick, Sherry Simpson, Kamario Simpson, Wayne Fowler, Raquel Scott, Victor Fowler; his Godparents: Donella Porter; his God Sister: Erica Porter; his bestfriends: Lance Burnley, Gerald Porter, Zachary Moore, Terranz Posey, Waddell Price, Johnethon Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and acquaintances.
